All these paintings belong to the series Season of Hungry Ghosts, which I created in 2025. The title of this series refers to the hungry spirits of Buddhism and Asian folklore: insatiable beings, eternally hungry, representing desires, attachments, or unfulfilled needs. These spirits do not seek to satisfy physical hunger, but rather the eternal need for meaning, connection, and fulfillment, something that in modern everyday life is becoming increasingly elusive.
